With the votes of the ruling coalition in Berane, which consists of Democratic Front, Democrats, Berane Sad, United and True Montenegro, the municipal assembly there adopted the budget rebalance for 2022 at a session convened under emergency procedure.
The Socialist People's Party (SNP), which is not in the local government, voted for the adoption of the rebalance, while the councilors of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) were against it, reports the RTCG portal.
With the rebalancing, the budget was increased by a minimum of 200.000 euros, that is, from 9,7 to 9,9 million euros.
While members of the DPS criticized the budget as spending, Bojan Radošević, head of the Secretariat for Finance, claims that the budget of the Municipality of Berana is taken everywhere as an example of good practice and household business.
The Ministry of Finance gave a positive opinion on the rebalancing proposal.
At today's session of the Berana Board of Directors, the new councils of the public institutions Polimski Museum and the Cultural Center were appointed.
