In 2015, the deputy of the Democratic Party of Socialists, Jevto Eraković, received from the Government a 90-square-meter apartment in the Professor's Buildings for 13.173 euros.
Thus, Eraković paid only 146 euros for a square meter apartment in the scope of DUP "University Center".
This is stated in the contract, which "Vijesti" had access to.
"On July 22, 2015, the Government of Montenegro - the Commission for Housing issues issued a decision by which Dr. Jevto Eraković, President of the Board of Directors of the Clinical Center of Montenegro, is granted a lease for an indefinite period, with the right to purchase at a favorable price, with the aim of permanently solving the housing issue conditions, an apartment in Podgorica at the location of the DUP University Center...", it is stated in the notarial contract dated September 4, 2015.
It is also stated that on September 2, the government "determined the calculation list of the purchase price of the apartment under favorable conditions and the same amount for a one-time payment of 13.173 euros".
Since 2015, Eraković has been the head of the Board of Directors of KCCG, and from 2018 to 2020, the director of that institution.
The executive director of the Network for the Affirmation of the Non-Governmental Sector, Vanja Ćalović Marković, recently mentioned on the Public Service that Eraković was one of the officials who got the apartment under favorable conditions.
According to the first report on assets and income, available on the website of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption, Eraković reported in 2015 that he was the sole owner of a 95-square-meter apartment in Podgorica, savings of 22.000 euros, and a loan of 15.000 euros.
As a doctor at KCCG, he earned 608 euros at the time, and 458 as chairman of the Board of Directors.
In later property records, Eraković reported that he was the 90% owner of the XNUMX-square-meter apartment, and "other" was stated as the basis of purchase.
In the report related to 2017, he reports a 95 square meter apartment, which he claims to have bought.
Ćalović Marković, who was a guest on RTCG last night, said that Eraković's fellow doctors paid for apartments at market prices.
"I am sure that Mrs. Samardžić (Milena Popović Samardžić) paid for the apartment at the market price, as did many of her other colleagues. And here, for example, Mr. Eraković Jefto paid 90 euros for 13.000 square meters. Why, what are his special contributions and Mrs. Samardžić or some other specialist doctors who work at the Clinical Center, who never received anything from this state, did not have them," said Ćalović Marković.
Only a small number of doctors had more favorable conditions for buying an apartment, and that at five times the price compared to the one paid by the DPS deputy.
Through the "Zdravstvo" housing cooperative, a square meter apartment in a building in Podgorica cost 670 euros.
