He said this on the occasion of November 20, the Day of the Municipality of Pljevlja, when he congratulated the leadership of the city, defenders and all citizens.

"I must mention that Pljevlja is the city that has suffered the greatest injustice for decades, giving a lot to Montenegro, its economy and all the citizens of our country, while at the same time receiving very little or no benefit from it," said Abazović.

That is why he believes that the current and future municipal and state authorities have a serious task to recover and revitalize Pljevlja, both industrially and the impressive natural resources of this region.

"Reduction of emissions of harmful gases, ecological reconstruction of all facilities, energy efficiency, use of clean fuels, heating, improvement of the environment and sustainability, construction of a brick factory, are the ultimate conditions to be able to access the realization of economic investments in the future," the announcement states.

Abazović emphasizes that with rational and sincere efforts, the sustainable development of Pljevlja can be dynamized and intensified, in the community with other municipalities in the north of Montenegro.

"Pljevlja, with its rich energy, natural, agrarian and ethno-tourism possibilities, can completely round off the high-quality, competitive, autochthonous offer on the regional and European market, and provide citizens and the state with better employment and a more certain and secure future," said Abazović.

"In the belief that we base our optimism on realistic assessments, solidarity and social responsibility of all subjects of the wider social community, with a sincere desire to change the unfair relationship of the state towards your municipality," concluded Abazović.
