In a large collection campaign organized by the local community (MZ) of the parish, the Red Cross organization and "Dušan Bojović" primary school, large quantities of basic foodstuffs, as well as clothes and toys, were collected.
"And with this action, we have clearly confirmed the humane side of the people of Župa. Special thanks go to the children from this school and their parents who helped with this collection action," said Dragoljub Radulović, president of the Municipal Council of Župa.
The Red Cross expressed its great gratitude to the MZ Zupa, residents and students. As they said, they have a very good cooperation with Župa, so such good actions are to be expected.
"I hope that this action will help the socially vulnerable population at least a little," Radulović said.
