The President of the Municipality of Nikšić, Marko Kovačević, announced that the House of Revolution will get new premises.
Kovačević hosted a reception for the minister of the Ministry of Science and Technological Development, Biljana Šćepanović, today.
They add that on that occasion, Kovačević introduced Šćepanović to the activities that the Municipality of Nikšić carries out in the field of science and innovation and pointed out that the local leadership has good cooperation with IPC "Tehnopolis".
"The municipality helps IPC 'Technopolis' through joint activities. We have reached an agreement to give them part of the space in the Institute for Ferrous Metallurgy so that they can expand their capacities," Kovačević pointed out, as stated in the Nikšić Municipality press release.
He also announced that Technopolis will also get new premises in the House of Revolution.
"We signed a cooperation agreement with them right after we took office. We participate with them in numerous innovative projects," said Kovačević.
Šćepanović said that she was very glad that the representatives of the Municipality of Nikšić were at the conference related to smart specialization, and she would like the Ministry and the Municipality to strengthen this cooperation through joint activities.
"Given that you are working on the City Development Strategy, we offer cooperation and our professional help to work together. It is commendable that the Municipality helps and cooperates with IPC 'Tehnopolis', which is extremely important to us from the segment of innovation infrastructure", pointed out Šćepanović.
It is stated that the interlocutors agree that stronger cooperation between the Municipality and the Ministry will contribute to greater development of Nikšić.
