The municipality of Kotor calls for a protest: We do not agree to the abolition of our constitutional powers

The leadership of the Municipality of Kotor invites citizens, representatives of local communities, non-governmental organizations and political parties to attend a protest rally against the announced adoption of the proposal for the Law on Spatial Planning and Building Construction today at 18 p.m. Municipality of Kotor, Vladimir Jokić.

"The proposed law on spatial planning and construction of facilities, we remind you, is on the agenda of tomorrow's session of the Parliament of Montenegro. At the protest meeting, the citizens will be addressed by the President of the Municipality Vladimir Jokić and representatives of the coalition partners who participate in the local government. The goal of today's protest meeting is to sends a clear message to the public and MPs that Kotor does not agree to the abolition of its constitutional competences and that the announced proposal of the Law be withdrawn from the procedure," the announcement states.
