The pharmacy institution "Montefarm" has announced a tender for the procurement of vaccines against infectious diseases, worth almost nine million euros.
In the public invitation, which was published the day before yesterday, it is written that this institution is looking for 24 types of vaccines for the needs of Montenegrin health institutions, based on the consent of the Health Insurance Fund.
"Montefarm" requested a vaccine against tetanus, diphtheria, tuberculosis, hepatitis B, hepatitis A, rabies, varicella, as well as a quadrivalent vaccine against meningitis...
In the tender documentation for the annual procurement of vaccines, it is written that the delivery period is from 30 to 270 days from the date of conclusion of the contract, depending on which medicine is in question.
"The offered medicines, upon delivery, must have a shelf life that will not be shorter than two-thirds of the product's total shelf life. Medicines with a shorter shelf life (less than 18 months) must have at least three quarters of the remaining shelf life of the total shelf life at the time of delivery," the documentation states.
Bidders are also obliged to submit a certificate of analysis issued by the manufacturer and the national drug control agency or laboratory of the EU, USA, Canada, Norway, Switzerland and the countries of the former SFRY, confirmation by the competent authority of the manufacturer's country that the vaccine has permission to be placed in circulation in the producer's country, as well as confirmation that the vaccine was produced according to the principles of good manufacturing practice (GMP) or other strict standards that ensure their quality.
"Requested vaccines must be delivered in a cold chain mode with mandatory temperature indicators that monitor the temperature of the vaccines from the moment of production through storage and transport to the customer," the documentation says.
