The New Year's bazaar with about a dozen wooden houses serving hot drinks, sweets, various drinks and traditional dishes was opened last night at the Pier in Ulcinj as part of the "Sweet December" event, which will last until January 10.
Yesterday, work on setting up the stage was in progress, since during the duration of the manifestation, among others, performances were announced Sergej Ćetković, Alban Skenderaj, Mark Lewis with the band, Sevdah baby, Ledri Vule, Milf Huntersa, Dj Sardia, Lanterne...
"All citizens, as well as visitors, will be able to feel the spirit of the Christmas and New Year holidays and enjoy the promenade with an open heart with company and families. For New Year's Eve 2023, there will be no live music on the square, but the good atmosphere and spirit of the holiday will continue after New Year's Eve, where together with the Municipality we will also organize numerous concerts until January 10", the Tourist Organization announced earlier.
President of the Tourist Organization Ćazim Hodžić he said that Ulcinj has the potential to attract guests from the region despite the fact that it does not have money like other coastal cities where the biggest music stars of the former great Yugoslavia are announced for New Year's Eve.
"Sweet December" is being organized in this way for the first time in Pristan, and I believe that this magical part of our city will be the central holiday corner for the next 25 days, where all our locals and visitors will be able to have a good time. I am convinced that the event will succeed and that we will organize it at the same time every next year", said Hodžić to "Vijesta".
He stated that Ulcinj wants to be a good host for guests from the entire region, and that the program is designed that way because the performers are well-known musical names from Montenegro, Albania, Serbia, Kosovo...
945 guests are currently vacationing in Ulcinj, of which 820 are in private accommodation, according to data from the local Tourist Organization. In the structure, foreign tourists dominate, numbering 938
