President of the Bosniak Party and Deputy Prime Minister Ervin Ibrahimović congratulated the city leadership and all citizens on December 19, the Liberation Day of Podgorica.
"Today occupies an important place in the overall history of Montenegro and marks the victory of the anti-fascist idea in Podgorica," said Ibrahimović.
"We are proud that today Montenegro is unequivocally on the right side of history, together with advanced countries, which also inherit anti-fascist and civilizational values," the congratulatory message states.
He emphasizes that as the capital, Podgorica throughout history was and remains what he says, and today's Montenegro is a symbol of multiculturalism.
"That is our fundamental value and I am sure that both Podgorica and Montenegro will survive on the values that unite our society," concluded Ibrahimović.
