Komar claims that he is being replaced by the SNP

The dismissed director of the Herceg Novi Health Center dr Goran Komar claims that he was dismissed from that position by the Socialist People's Party (SNP), with a formal explanation from the Minister of Health that the institution made omissions when concluding the contract on additional work.

Komar told "Vijesta" that the disputed contracts were produced by a bad legal service and pointed out that he did not take advantage of a single cent that did not belong to him.

Yesterday, the Ministry of Health did not respond to the "News" as to why Komar was dismissed, who was elected as director and on the basis of which references.

In a telephone conversation yesterday, Komar confirmed to "Vijesta" that he was dismissed from that position and that, according to his knowledge, a municipal policeman was appointed as the new manager of the Health Center. Aleksa Đekić.

"The Socialist People's Party is in agreement with its political leadership, and through the instrument of the Minister of Health Dragoslav Šćekić, carried out the dismissal in the competition of the elected director. Of course, with the participation of the basic Herzegovinian SNP organization and associated structures. The justifications are of a formal nature, focused on omissions in the form of contracts on additional work produced by a poor legal service. As a doctor and as a director, I did not take advantage of a single cent that did not belong to me", he emphasized.

Komar said yesterday that he was elected director of the institution after nine months spent in that position as an acting officer, from January 14, 2021 to October 11.10, XNUMX. the same year. He assessed that he has been in office for one year and that that period was the most difficult in the history of that health institution.

"At the beginning of my mandate, I made the decision to continue working and support the collective through direct professional involvement. During the momentum of the covid epidemic, I worked in covid clinics, opened supplementary clinics and worked in them with the best nursing staff. I personally carried out the vaccination of Novljana with two nurses, until the start of mass immunization in the building of the Igalo Institute. "I talked with an excellent expert at the institution about the possibilities for seriously raising the level of services, as institutions of this level in the world do," said Komar.

He said that in the previous days he had prepared a detailed report on the achieved results of the Health Center, which is available to the media.

"He did not include all the obstacles from Mr. Šćekić, who completely ignores all the requests for approval for the employment of urgently needed medical and other personnel, which is a huge problem for the institution and the citizens of Herceg Novi in ​​the period when the services of specialists in PZU Bolnica Meljine were terminated. Just in the last few weeks, for example, I urgently asked for approval for the admission of a new internist, because the institution will remain without an excellent specialist until the new year 2023. Slobodan Guzina with whom I had the honor to collaborate. However, the Montenegrin partyocracy reserves such engagements for its management staff", claims Komar.

He also told "Vijesti" that with the closest team of associates he discovered and publicly pointed out the widespread phenomenon of falsification of vaccination certificates against covid-19 and then filed reports.

"What is at stake is the discovery through material evidence of a massively represented phenomenon that points to a criminogenic structure within the national health system (those who are able to falsify certificates for money, what else are they able to do if the opportunity arises?). These structures operate in Herceg Novi and of course the rest of the system," Komar claims.

The sacked director also told "Vijesta" that the inspection inspected the health center in Herceg Novi several times during his mandate, as well as that he was asked to apply what was not even considered in other health centers.

"Finally, the process of deploying party personnel is not new in Montenegro. For me, as a family, it's not news yet. My late father, pediatrician dr Žarko Komar under the pressure of the one-party political structure, in the spring of 1973, he left the position of director of this same institution. During the last almost thirty years that I have been working in this institution, I have seen the departure and loss of the best staff who then went on to build excellent and even top careers in other countries. Rigid interest extensions of former revolutionary political formations still rule here," concluded Komar.
