The Department for Seismology of the Institute for Hydrometeorology and Seismology registered a minor earthquake at 19.30:XNUMX tonight, with an epicenter four kilometers southwest of Koplik in Albania, which was also felt in Montenegro.
The strength of the earthquake in the hypocenter (focal point) was 3.2 units on the Richter scale, which corresponds to the epicentral intensity of the III-IV degree of the Mercalli scale (MCS). The epicenter of this earthquake was located at a depth of 23 kilometers.
Based on the numerical model of the change in intensity with distance in this region, the magnitude of the earthquake and the depth of the hypocenter, this earthquake could not cause material damage in the epicentral area, the Institute announced.
