This is stated in the reaction of the coalition "For the future of Podgorica" to the article "City leaders left, party leaders arrived" published on the "Vijesti" portal.
"The delegation of the coalition "For the Future of Podgorica" yesterday, as part of its regular humanitarian activities, visited the Resource Center for Children and Youth "Podgorica", as well as "1. June". The delegation of our coalition, as part of the future municipal government, during this visit of a humanitarian character and a civic motive, pleased the youngest with a donation in the form of New Year's gift packages. Today, in the media, specifically on the Vijesti portal, we read a statement from the Ministry of Education in which says that due to this event, the ministry has requested information from the director of the Resource Center Podgorica and that after reviewing the situation, the Ministry of Education will take appropriate actions and measures within its jurisdiction, in accordance with the law. Ministry of Education, that the delegation of our coalition carried out a humanitarian activity. We know that according to the General Law on Education, political (party) ) organizing and operating and using the premises of institutions for these purposes. During our visit to the aforementioned center, we did not hold any political-party meeting in its premises, and in yesterday's press release, which can also be found on the official page of the Democratic Front, we clearly emphasized several times that it was an action of a humanitarian nature, during which We gave New Year's gift packages to the youngest," the response states.
They add that "they are not happy that the visit to the Resource Center for Children and Youth received attention from some people only in this way".
"But we believe that, if there are sincere and good intentions, this can also be a good opportunity to pay more attention to the problems that burden the functionality of the aforementioned institutions. This is not only the obligation of the authorities, but also an integral part of civic and human sensibility thanks to which we can improve the situation in our society. And after the formal takeover of power in Podgorica, we will definitely do it. We are glad, like every well-intentioned citizen, that we made the youngest happy with New Year's packages, and we believe that this will inspire humanitarian activity in various directions and many others." , it is stated in the response.
