Ulcinj will soon get a public apartment garage on two levels, the first of its kind in the city, for which the Government provided 900 thousand euros through the capital budget for the next year.
The amendment for the Ulcinj public garage was submitted by MP URA, Suada Zoronjić, on the initiative of her party colleague and executive director of Parking Service Ulcinj, Amil Grbović.
From Ulcinj URE, they said that the garage will be built under the walls of the Old Town, that is across the street from the Elementary School "Boško Strugar".
"In this way, funds have been provided according to the estimate from the conceptual solution, which was made in cooperation with the Chief City Architect, Muho Uruči, and which are necessary for the construction of a multi-storey parking facility on two levels on the urban planning plot No. 54 KO Ulcinj, as part of the Urban Planning Project In this way, the Municipality of Ulcinj is sending a message that, unlike previous municipal administrations, it is seriously treating some of the biggest problems facing our city, bearing in mind that we lack parking spaces, especially during the tourist season when Ulcinj records the highest number of visitors", according to the announcement of the Ulcinj URE.
It is added that with the construction of the garage, the city will also benefit from the ambient decoration of that area, and that "therefore, the Old Town will be even more attractive and accessible for all our tourists and visitors."
"We will make efforts to provide as soon as possible all the necessary documentation and conditions for the earliest possible start of work on this project and offer citizens and tourists a modern and modern underground garage for use," the URE statement reads.
