At the proposal of the Council of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Montenegro, prof. Ljiljana Kašćelan, Ph.D., was awarded the UCG recognition for her contribution to scientific research and international positioning of the University.
The recognition was presented to her by the rector of UCG prof. Dr. Vladimir Božović, at the solemn session of the UCG Senate, at the end of 2022.
It was announced from UCG that Professor Kašćelan was chosen for this recognition by the results achieved during the past year.
"Works published in journals found in international databases such as Science Citation Index, Science Citation Index Expanded, Social Sciences Citation Index stand out. They are joined by works published in journals found on SCOPUS and the Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI)", according to the University.
Kašćelan also signs, as a co-author, chapters in monographs published by Springer, a leading global publisher of a scientific, technical and medical portfolio, which provides quality content to researchers in academic circles, scientific institutions and corporate departments for research and development, adds the UCG .
She also presented scientific papers at international conferences in Switzerland and England.
While engaged in pedagogical work at the faculty, in addition to being involved in teaching activities, Kaščelan was engaged as a mentor for the preparation of a significant number of master's and graduate theses. He is the author of a textbook in the field of business information technologies, published by the University of Montenegro. He is currently a mentor for two doctoral dissertations at the Faculty of Economics.
He is a member of the international scientific association Euro Working Group on Decision Support Systems, as well as the Management and Editorial Board of the international journals ComSis and Journal of Theoretical and Applied Electronic Commerce Research, which are on the SCI list.
