From today, citizens of Pljevlja, Bijelo Polje and Beran can pick up protective masks free of charge at Montefarm pharmacies in those cities.
This was announced by Montefarm Pharmacy, who decided to take this step because, as they say, "protection from harmful particles when staying outdoors".
"These are four-layer masks that provide a high level of protection, up to 95 percent, from harmful particles as well as viruses," the Montefarm announcement states.
"Previously, the Environmental Protection Agency monitored air quality and found very high concentrations of pollutants PM 10 and PM 2.5 particles, especially in these municipalities," Montefarm concluded.
