The former director of the Institute for Standardization Perica Turković passed away

The former director of the Institute for Standardization of Montenegro, Perica Turković, died on January 20 at the age of 71.

Turković was born on April 20, 1952 in Sjenica. He completed his primary education in Danilovgrad at the "Vuko Jovović" Elementary School, and his secondary education at the "Slobodan Škerović" Gymnasium in Podgorica.

He graduated from the Faculty of Law in Podgorica, University "Veljko Vlahović" (University of Montenegro).

The announcement of the Institute for Standardization states that Turković devoted most of his working life to standardization and actively participated in the process of establishing the Institute for Standardization of Montenegro.

Performing the functions of assistant director of the Institute, coordinator of the Institute's operations, and then as the director of the Institute, Turković, as stated, contributed to the development of standardization in the country and the region.

"In addition to his professional approach to work, we will also remember him as a man full of energy, ready to help and understand, and to contribute with a lot of will and enthusiasm to the development of standardization in the entire region," says the Institute's announcement.
