The measuring station for air quality monitoring in Gornji Mrki was destroyed and part of the property was stolen, the Environmental Protection Agency announced.
According to them, this is the second time that the station has been targeted by vandals.
"Since timely and accurate data on air quality, which the Agency continuously insists on, is of great importance, this act deserves the strongest condemnation," they said in the announcement.
They reminded that this is very sophisticated equipment that can only and exclusively serve to monitor air quality.
They add that officers from the Police Administration have arrived at the scene and will take all measures within their jurisdiction to find the perpetrators.
