The Minister of Capital Investments (MKI) Ervin Ibrahimović met with the Permanent Representative of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Daniela Gašparikova.
Ibrahimović and Gašparikova discussed MKI projects, plans for this year, as well as "everyday challenges faced by this department and topics that are very often in the focus of public attention," according to the MKI announcement.
Ibrahimović also mentioned the situation with air pollution in Pljevlja and the activities undertaken by the MKI, "primarily in the part of declaring the Pljevlja heating project a project of public interest".
Gašparikova emphasized UNDP's support for "improving energy efficiency in households" in Pljevlja.
She pointed out that their focus is on the development of the local community, and that "projects implemented in Pljevlja could serve as a model applicable in other local governments."
"UNDP will continue to be a partner of the Montenegrin Government, in order to jointly work on the development of projects with sustainable solutions and long-term effects," Gašparikova concluded.
