The Municipality of Budva, i.e. the Administration of Local Public Revenues, blocked an attractive plot of 8.500 square meters in front of the Adriatic Fair hall, owned by the company "Safiro Beach Resort", because, despite the warning, it did not pay the real estate tax.
It is about the land on which the Turkish company "Mia investments", with which "Safiro beach resort" concluded a joint construction contract four and a half years ago, plans to build a hotel with apartments for the "Mia Budva" market, which would consist of two towers of 15 and 16 floors each.
"Mortgage in the total amount of EUR 82.215 in favor of the Municipality of Budva - a decision on the securing of a tax claim of the Local Public Revenue Administration", is written in the list of real estate properties that "Vijesti" had access to.
The administration of local public revenues also blocked the land complex a year and a half ago, because "Safiro beach resort" did not settle the tax debt of 100 thousand euros. That mortgage is still registered in the cadastral records.
The public found out about the company "Safiro beach" when the businessman escaped Dusko Knezevic asserted that his land near the Adriatic Fair was stolen from him, and that behind the company from Podgorica "personally stand the leader of the DPS and the head of state Milo Djukanovic and former Minister of Sustainable Development Branimir Gvozdenović”, and not British businessmen, as it says in the papers. His claims were immediately denied, and it was announced that the Cypriot company "Expom Hotels Partners Limited" is the XNUMX% owner of the land in Budva at the Adriatic Fair, which is used by the company "Safiro Beach Resort". The Cypriot company "Expom Hotels Partners Limited", as they said then, is owned by the British "Cocoon Group" based in London. The Prosecutor's Office was called on several occasions to deal with that company.
Construction on the only remaining free plot along the shore of the Budva shell, an attractive location in front of the fair halls, just 20 meters from Slovenska beach, has not yet started. The company "Mia investments" from Podgorica, which gathers Turkish investors, even though it put up a sign before the summer season and announced the construction of the first of two 15-story towers, has not yet introduced construction machines. The plot of 8.500 square meters has not even been cleaned, and the fence that was put up a few years ago has been torn down in some places. There is no indication that the construction of a large hotel could begin there.
As "Vijesti" was recently told, the problem that the owner of the plot, the company "Safiro beach resort", has with the Novi Sad company "Carinvest RS", owned by the family of the former mayor of Budva, is waiting to be resolved. Marko Tsarević, and that it is the key problem that Turkish investors do not start construction.
The construction is also opposed by the Municipality of Budva, i.e. the Secretariat for Property Protection, which contested the decision of the Chief State Architect before the Administrative Court.
The directorate was then headed by the chief state architect Mirko Žižić annulled the decision of the chief architect of Budva from November 2019, and in March of last year gave consent to the preliminary decision for the complex of towers.
In August 2018, the Turkish company and "Safiro beach resort" concluded a joint construction contract.
The Novi Sad company of Tsarević's son placed a mortgage on the plot in April of last year, after it took over the million-dollar debt of "Safiro Beach Resort". Then the "conflict" of these two companies occurs.
