Podgorica: The wind detached part of the roof of the building

In the Old Airport neighborhood of Podgorica, on Pera Ćetkovića Boulevard, part of the roof of the building has separated from the structure and threatens to endanger the safety of passers-by.

A storm accompanied by strong winds yesterday caused damage in several Montenegrin municipalities.

Last night in Budva, the wind blew the roof off the "Danilo Kiš" Secondary School, overturned a truck, broke trees, and the 12-meter-long ship "Hope" sank in the city's marina.

Today, the Budva Protection and Rescue Team appealed to citizens to avoid moving outdoors and stay at home due to the warning issued that stormy gusts of wind are expected in the afternoon and evening hours.

In Tivat, due to stormy winds in the morning, part of the roof covering on the west side of the Župa sports hall was damaged. Several trees were also felled, one of which in the city center slightly damaged two vehicles when it fell.

The tourist ship "Knez Lipovac II" also sank under the gusts of wind last night at the mooring on the Đurašević Coast in Krtoli near Tivat.

In Herceg Novi, a strong storm also broke trees, and part of that city was without electricity.

The area of ​​the municipality of Ulcinj was left without electricity yesterday shortly after 18 pm, and the residents of Ulcinj received electricity after five hours.
