The sometimes strong and stormy northerly wind that has been blowing on the coast since yesterday caused damage to the municipality of Kotor.
Drivers are advised to be careful on the road Sveti Stasije - Ljuta, because the strong wind knocked down the roof structure of the prefabricated building located in the immediate vicinity, reports Radio Kotor.
Representatives of the Kotor Protection and Rescue Service and the Kotor OB Police Administration are currently on site.
It was similar in Radanovići, where last night, due to a strong northerly wind that reached storm force, a dozen pine trees over twenty meters long were felled in the park near the "Nikola Đurković" Elementary School.
As the president of the Council of this local community, Mirko Kordić, told Radio Kotor today, several trees fell and blocked the local road to the house of local resident Branko Burić.
"Since the children are going to school tomorrow, I appeal to the competent city services to come to the scene and check the stability of the surrounding trees as soon as possible during the night, when even stronger gusts of the north wind have been announced, so that there are no additional problems," he said. said Kordić, adding that last night's storm also lifted the roofs of some houses, bricks, awnings and metal structures.
