About 5,2 million euros will be allocated for cystic fibrosis drugs this year, while the procurement of vaccines against the human papilloma virus (HPV) will cost about 300.000 euros.
This is written in the Public Procurement Plan for 2023, which was published by the public institution of the Pharmacy of Montenegro "Montefarm".
According to the plan, this year "Montefarm" will dispose of 110.751.062 euros for the procurement of goods, works and services that it plans to implement by the end of this year.
The procurement of drugs and medical devices for the needs of public institutions, drugs that are issued on a doctor's prescription and those that are not on the list of drugs, blood transfusion, emergency medical aid and medical devices at the expense of the Health Insurance Fund (FZO) will cost about 94 million euros.
Additionally, nine million euros will be allocated from the "Montefarm" budget for medicines used in healthcare institutions, and two million euros for prescription medicines.
This year, "Montefarm" intends to purchase office supplies, i.e. binders, accounting books, folders and other printed material worth 23.000 euros, while the purchase of gasoline and diesel fuel will cost around 49.586 euros, excluding value added tax (VAT). ).
About 22.000 euros will be allocated for maintenance and servicing, washing and cleaning, as well as insurance of "Montefarma" vehicles, and 30.000 euros for personal and property insurance.
The purchase of hygiene and cleaning products will cost around 37.200 euros, and soft drinks around 4.000.
This year, "Montefarm" plans to adapt the business premises of that institution, as well as the pharmacies operating within them. Concrete, masonry, locksmith and painting works will cost, excluding VAT, about 49.586 euros, and work on the maintenance of pharmacies will cost an additional 25.000. About 51.000 will be paid for various computer equipment from the budget.
At the end of last year, "Montefarm" announced annual tenders for the procurement of 24 types of vaccines, worth around nine million euros, and the contracts were signed in the middle of last month. Among those vaccines are those that are mandatory for the immunization of children against infectious diseases.
Two days ago, the institution announced the annual public call for the procurement of the HPV vaccine, and 4.545 vials worth 300.000 euros were requested. HPV vaccination in Montenegrin health centers began in September 2022, and the primary target group for which immunization is intended are girls in the fourth grade of elementary school, aged after their tenth birthday. A nine-valent vaccine, which protects against the types of viruses that cause cervical cancer, is being sought, and offers are to be submitted to "Montefarm" by February 22 of this year.
