Thermal power plant Pljevlja suspended production tonight at 20.30 pm due to a malfunction and will be out of operation for several days.
The Department for Corporate Communications of Elektroprivreda Crne Gore informed Vijesta that TE Pljevlja has suspended production due to a leak in the economizer (heat exchanger).
"We expect that the malfunction will be repaired quickly and that the Thermoelectric Power Plant will be online again in three to four days," EPCG announced.
Last year, Pljevlja Thermal Power Plant produced around 1.4 gigawatt hours of electricity, and already on December 9, it achieved its annual production plan.
The value of electricity produced last year was over 410 million euros.
In 2021, the thermal power plant achieved a record when it worked continuously for 167 days, without a single outage from the system.
