The elder of the "Word of God" Evangelical Church from Podgorica, Vladimir Čizmanski, thanked the competent authorities of the Government of Montenegro on behalf of that religious organization, for the "fundamental work on the problems that our religious community faced".
"In fact, in our effort to start the construction of our religious building, we were faced with administrative difficulties that we could not have overcome without the help of the Protector Siniša Bjeković and the Deputy Protector, Nerma Dobrdžić, who handled our case thoroughly and very well, for which we are very grateful. Also We are also grateful to the Minister of Justice, Marko Kovač, who approved the wholehearted, professional and advisory assistance, which we received from the General Director of the Directorate, Dragan Radović, who advocated that the current Law on Freedom of Religion be applied in such a way that the Law must be the same for everyone, that spiritual families must be heard, which is, among other things, the mission of the Ministry of Justice," Čizmanski emphasized in the statement.
He added that with their actions they want to contribute to a better and fairer society in which we live.
"In accordance with the teaching of the Holy Scriptures, we want to appreciate and respect every government, because it is given by God. We pray that the government that is in a position is actually aware of its God-given role to actually serve the people for the good of all, so that they can live in peace with each other. With this letter, we want to publicly thank and recognize the effort, thorough work and compassion of everyone involved in solving our problem," Čizmanski concluded.
