The parents' association announced that on Saturday, March 11, they will organize a protest on Independence Square in Podgorica, in order to appeal to the authorities to protect children in Montenegro from violence.
"With the gathering, which will start at 11.55:XNUMX a.m., we want to send a message that violence must be stopped, which seems to have become our everyday life and what is even more dangerous, is acceptable behavior for which there is no responsibility even when it is repeated," it is stated on the Parents portal. .me.
As they say, the reason is the latest incidents of violence in which the victims are minors as well as the perpetrators, "which are only an indicator of the insufficient level of security and the pervasive violence among children and young people".
"After the gathering, the attendees will walk to the Government building where they will leave their demands, as well as letters from parents in which, among other things, they pointed to the high level of violence in schools," the announcement concludes.
