Planting is organized symbolically on March 21 World Day of Forests, Trees and Planting, in cooperation with the Municipality of Herceg Novi and local Zelenila within the Communal Housing Enterprise.
After Podgorica, Pljevlja, Bar and Bijelo Polje, Herceg Novi is the fifth city to which Telemach donated seedlings.
"With over 1.100 seedlings, we made five cities in all three regions of Montenegro greener and more accessible for vacation. All locations, which we have chosen in cooperation with local governments, have become even more beautiful places for gatherings and recreation, which is our ultimate goal. Herceg Novi, the city of greenery, deserves that whenever we have the opportunity, we complete its vegetation and make it bear that sign for a long time. We continue to be a partner to local communities with a concrete contribution and to show, through our daily operations, how important it is to create preconditions for a greener future," she said. Each new seedling has enormous value for the city, which, with the highest number of sunny days during the year, is a true green oasis of the Mediterranean.
"However, recently we have witnessed a great devastation of green areas, so the donation of the Telemach company is of immeasurable importance for our municipality. Maintaining green areas requires a lot of resources, and any help in our greening mission is welcome. It is commendable that Telemach recognized the importance of preserving greenery, so we hope that this example will be followed by other companies. From today, the promenade, which is the first place for recreation and socializing of the inhabitants of Herceg Novi, will be even more beautiful for everyday activities," she said.
