In Montenegro, in the last 24 hours, 49 new cases of coronavirus were registered, and during that period, no deaths related to covid infection were recorded.

The Institute for Public Health (IJZ) announced that their and other public and private laboratories that deal with the diagnosis of coronavirus infection conducted an analysis and submitted results for 730 samples on Wednesday.

There are 15 newly discovered cases from Podgorica and Nikšić each, five from Beran, three from Danilovgrad and Herceg Novi, two from Kotor and Pljevlja, and one from Bijelo Polje, Budva, Tivat and Ulcinj.

As announced on the Twitter account of the IJZ, the recovery of 24 patients was reported in the past 57 hours.

The total number of active cases in Montenegro is 399.
