The President of the Parliament of Montenegro, Danijela Đurović, congratulated the Archbishop of Bar, Monsignor Roko Đonlešaj, and members of the Catholic faith in Montenegro on the Catholic Easter.
She sent the congratulation with the wish that they spend the holy days in good health, peace and joy.
"The all-time symbolism of the holiday of the resurrection of Christ, who made a sacrifice for the good of all mankind, enriches our lives and strengthens faith in the universal values of peace, tolerance, justice, togetherness, trust and understanding between people and nations," the congratulatory message reads.
Đurović emphasized that the Catholic Church, as an inseparable part of our society, has always contributed to multi-ethnic and multi-confessional harmony, and that it continues to do so even in today's challenging times.
"I am sure that together we will continue to build a strong and prosperous state, a civil and modern Montenegro, which will soon find itself in the company of the most developed countries in Europe. With the wish that you spend the holidays in family harmony and well-being, I once again wish you a happy Easter." Đurović said.
