By rehabilitating the storm sewer on the part of the Kolašina bypass from the intersection with Ulica Omladinska to the turn towards Gornji Pažanj, as written in the main project for that work, the long-standing problem of inefficient drainage of storm water in that part of the city will be solved.
The bypass is a busy thoroughfare, especially after the opening of the highway, so solving that problem, as they say in the local administration, is one of the important goals when it comes to improving the Kolasin infrastructure.
The value of the project is, as previously announced, 82.198, and 90.000 euros are planned in the budget for the rehabilitation of the atmospheric sewage system on the part of the bypass.
According to the documentation, the project includes a section with a total length of about 340 meters in the scope of DUP "Centar". In that area, it is planned to change the existing atmospheric sewage system, which has so far proven to be very ineffective.
Due to the non-functioning of the system, part of the road was often covered with water, and the yards of most of the houses on one side of the street were also flooded. In addition to the works on the culverts, the project also foresees the drainage of water from the road itself.
For this purpose, in accordance with the leveling solution of the road, atmospheric collectors with flow drain shafts were designed. The implementation of the project, it is written in the documentation, will increase traffic safety during rainfall, but also reduce the threat to surrounding buildings.
