Đurović congratulated Eid al-Fitr: An opportunity to remind ourselves of the value of forgiveness and caring for others

The President of the Parliament of Montenegro Danijela Đurović sent a congratulatory message on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to the President of the Islamic Community in Montenegro Rifat ef. Fejzić and all members of the Islamic religion in Montenegro, the Assembly announced.

"On behalf of the Parliament of Montenegro and on my own behalf, I congratulate all citizens of the Islamic religion in Montenegro on Eid al-Fitr, wishing them to spend it in good health, peace and well-being, with their loved ones," said Đurović.

She added that she believes that the joy of this great holiday will be an inspiration for concerted action to strengthen tolerance and further strengthen interfaith relations.

"I hope that it will be an incentive to work on the development of the country in a spirit of solidarity, with the awareness that we can only meet the challenges of the modern world together," said Đurović.

Eid, as she says, is an opportunity to remind ourselves of the value of forgiveness and care for our neighbors, and the determination to contribute to the affirmation of peaceful coexistence in multi-confessional and multi-ethnic Montenegro.

"In that name, I once again congratulate you on this holy day, I am sure that we will always gather in friendship and with the conviction that diversity is our greatest asset," said Đurović.
