Eid al-Fitr is one of the biggest Islamic holidays, which marks the end of the month of fasting, the month of gratitude and renunciation, said the President of Democratic Montenegro, Aleksa Bečić.
On his behalf and on behalf of the party, he sent congratulations on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr to the head of the Islamic community, Rifat ef. Fejzić and all members of the Islamic community in Montenegro and the diaspora.
"I wish that your Eid days will be filled with health, joy and well-being, that you will spend these holy days ahead of us in prosperity with your families, neighbors and friends, that the nobility and tolerance of the past will be qualities that will be cherished in the future," said Bečić. .
Eid days, as he says, are another opportunity to affirm our traditional hospitality, mutual appreciation, respect and solidarity.
"It reminds us how important the tradition and culture of the Islamic community in Montenegro is, that it is part of the identity of Montenegrin society and as such represents an inspiration to nurture multi-ethnic and multi-confessional harmony, which are the greatest civilizational achievements," added Bečić.
