Today is Eid al-Fitr

Muslims around the world will celebrate today the great Islamic holiday - Eid al-Fitr.

Eid al-Fitr lasts three days and marks the end of Ramadan, that is, the month of fasting during which Muslims, from dawn to sunset, abstain from food, drink and intimate relations.

This year, Ramadan began on March 23 and ended last night, with iftar at 19:38 p.m.

During fasting, believers refrain from bad thoughts and purify their soul and mind with devotion to faith.

The month of Ramadan is one of the most important months of the year for all Muslims.

Devotion to faith and constant worship enables believers to purify their souls during the month of Ramadan and truly ask for forgiveness for all their sins.

This year's Eid prayer will be offered today in all mosques in Montenegro at six hours and 30 minutes.
