Borovinić Bojović: In Podgorica, we don't live next to each other, but with each other
The President of the Assembly of the Capital City, Jelena Borovinić Bojović, congratulated the holiday of Mešihat of the Islamic community and all believers of the Islamic faith in Podgorica and Montenegro, wishing them to spend it in peace, health and joy with their loved ones.
"Major religious holidays, in addition to their spiritual significance, are immeasurably important and because they further bring us closer to each other, remind us that we preserve traditions and customs, as well as that we share the same values. Today, most of the people of Podgorica, according to tradition, will either be guests or hosts at Eid celebration. This is the best and most direct evidence of our togetherness and shows that we in Podgorica do not live next to each other, but with each other, exactly as it should be. Happy holiday," she stated in the congratulatory message.
Katić: The time when the spirit of togetherness and tolerance is strengthened
The President of the Municipality of Herceg Novi, Stevan Katic, congratulated all members of the Islamic faith, representatives of the Islamic Community of Montenegro, Meh Martinović, the chief imam for Boka Kotor and Budva, and Husein Hodžić, the imam of Herceg Novi.
"This is the time when the spirit of tolerance, family harmony and togetherness, understanding and respect among people is strengthened. Husović: Bajram gives a person dignity and meaning
The President of the Municipality of Rožaje Rahman Husović sent a congratulatory message to fellow citizens of the Islamic faith, Rifat Fejzić, head of the Islamic community in Montenegro, and members of the Islamic faith in Montenegro and the diaspora.
"Ramadan fasting is not only abstinence from eating and drinking, but an attempt to refine human characters and traits with additional patience, charity and compassion. We must continue to do good deeds and adhere to all the rules given to us, both during fasting and all other months in year.
"Bajram is the most important holiday for Muslims, which protects man by giving him dignity and meaning. It is an opportunity to strengthen family, friendship and neighborly ties.

The President of the Municipality of Petnjica, Samir Agović, congratulated Reis Rifat Fejzić, Chief Imam of the Majlis from Petnjica, Husein Ramčilović, as well as all Muslims in Montenegro and the diaspora.
"To all the citizens of the Islamic faith in the country and the diaspora, on behalf of the local administration and my own name, I send my most sincere congratulations on the occasion of the upcoming Ramadan Eid.

The President of the Municipality of Gusinje, Anela Čekić, and the President of the Assembly of the Municipality of Gusinje, Bujar Hasanđekaj, also sent their congratulations.
