Raonic: At the protest, there was little talk about salaries, a protest with political messages

General Director of Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG) Boris Raonic announced that he was surprised that at today's protest organized by the RTCG Employees' Union there was the least talk about salaries.

The RTCG employee union today held a warning strike on the plateau in front of that media house.

"As far as we are concerned, the collective agreement could have been signed much earlier. The salaries we are talking about are higher than what was the initial request. We had a lot of negotiations, and now we have a protest with political messages," Raonic told reporters.

He added that they are ready to increase wages, but that one must know how to get there.

"Administrative procedures, analyzes and consultations are needed," said Raonic.

He said that it is certain that RTCG is currently the most attractive employer, and gave an example of one of the increases.

"What we are offering is that the RTCG cameraman will have a higher salary than other cameramen," said Raonic.

The General Director of RTCG also said that he will insist that the meetings with the Trade Union be public, since, as he says, there is a lot of misinformation.

Responding to the questions of journalists, Raonic pointed out that his salary will also be increased.

He addressed the people who were on strike, and after the discussion, he invited them to the RTCG building for a conversation.

After that, he went to a meeting with some of the workers, and he is also expected to negotiate with the union regarding wages.
