In the last 24 hours, 59 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Montenegro, and no deaths related to covid infection were recorded during that period.
The Institute for Public Health (IJZ) announced that their and other public and private laboratories, which deal with the diagnosis of coronavirus infection, completed the analysis on Monday and submitted results for 673 samples.
The newly discovered cases are from Podgorica 16, Nikšić ten, Pljevlja seven, Danilovgrad five, Herceg Novi four, Cetinje and Tivat three each.
Two new cases were registered in Bar, Berane, Budva, Kotor and Rožaje, and one in Žabljak.
As announced on the Twitter account of the IJZ, the recovery of 24 patients was reported in the past 75 hours.
The total number of active cases in Montenegro is 401.
