The opening ceremony of the 2023 Wind Festival in Tivat will be held on Friday at 19.30:XNUMX pm on the city's Pine waterfront.
The Wind Festival 2023 will be officially opened by the Minister of Sports and Youth in the Government of Montenegro, Vasilije Lalošević, and the President of the Municipality of Tivat, Željko Komnenović, the representative of the main sponsor of the Frances&Richard Gadbois Foundation, Richard Gadbois, as well as the president of the "Delfin" Sailing Club, the organizer of the festival, will speak. , Frano Tripović.
The program begins with the performance of the youth ensemble of the Boka Cultural and Art Society from Tivat, which will present "Games from Boka".
This will be followed by a concert by the Jadran klapa, which will be joined by the nationally popular Tivat ensemble Toć. This is followed by the central event of the evening - the first performance in Montenegro of the Split band Dalek Obal, whose lyrics and notes marked decades of festivities behind us.
The 2023 Multimedia Festival of the Wind in Tivat will last five weekends, from April 28 to May 28, and will offer the audience numerous cultural, sports, entertainment and other contents aimed at affirming the sea and seafaring, preserving Boke's cultural heritage and issues of sustainable development. and environmental protection.
