We must never forget what happened in Murin and how, for no reason or occasion, children and the weak lost their lives, said the president of the New Serbian Democracy (NSD), Andrija Mandić.

As announced, Mandić and his colleagues from the Democratic Front (DF) laid wreaths at the memorial to the victims of the NATO bombing in Murin.

"We paid our respects to these innocent victims and attended the memorial service which was officiated by Bishop Metodije of Budimlja-Nikšić", Mandic said.

He reminded that 24 years have passed since the crime in Murin during the "NATO aggression against the FRY".

"The families of the victims are still seeking justice, and the state of Montenegro has still not repaid them for the great pain and immense suffering," added Mandić.

This country, as he believes, would only honor the memory of this, as he calls it, insurmountable tragedy by showing such respect.

"We must never forget what happened in this small town and how, without any reason or occasion, children and the weak lost their lives," concluded Mandić.
