In Montenegro, in the last 24 hours, 33 new cases of coronavirus were registered, and during that period, not a single death related to covid infection was recorded.

The Institute for Public Health (IJZ) announced that their and other public and private laboratories dealing with the diagnosis of coronavirus infection completed the analysis on Thursday and submitted results for 488 samples.

There are 12 newly discovered cases from Podgorica, seven from Nikšić, four from Pljevlja, two each from Budva, Danilovgrad and Kotor, and one each from Beran, Bijelo Polje, Herceg Novi and Ulcinj.

The share of positive cases in the total number of those tested for Thursday was 6,76 percent.

"During Thursday, not a single fatal outcome related to the infection with the coronavirus was reported to the IJZ," the statement said.

There are currently 122 active cases of coronavirus infection in Podgorica, 46 in Nikšić, 26 in Budva, 23 in Pljevlja, 15 in Kotor, 11 in Tivat, six in Herceg Novi.

There are four active cases of coronavirus in Cetinje and Danilovgrad, three each in Berane and Bijelo Polje, two in Ulcinj and one each in Andrijevica, Kolašin and Rožaje.

There are no active cases of coronavirus in Bar, Gusinje, Mojkovac, Petnjica, Plav, Plužine, Šavnik, Tuzi and Žabljak.
