United Grupa BV, the leading telecommunications and media operator in Southeast Europe, announced that it has joined the United Nations Global Compact initiative, which represents a voluntary leadership platform to promote the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible business practices worldwide.
The company Telemach and its services EON and Total TV operate within the United Group in Montenegro, and media content is broadcast by the media house Vijesti and television Nova M.
With this initiative, United Group joins thousands of other companies around the world that are committed to responsible business. The United Nations Global Compact is also an invitation to companies to align their operations and strategies with ten globally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, the environment and the fight against corruption, and to take actions to support the goals and priorities of the United Nations embodied in the Sustainable Development Goals .
