During the weekend, 22 new cases of coronavirus were registered in Montenegro, and no deaths related to covid infection were recorded during that period.
The Institute for Public Health (IJZ) announced that their and other public and private laboratories, which deal with the diagnosis of coronavirus infection, completed the analysis on Saturday and Sunday and submitted results for 494 samples.
The newly discovered cases are from Nikšić six, Pljevlja five, Pogorica four, Budva three, Herceg Novi and Kotor two each.
As announced on the IJZ Twitter account, the recovery of 24 patients was reported in the past 27 hours.
The total number of active cases in Montenegro is 179.
