NGO Jaz Mrčevo polje and Jaz plaža: Abazović and Milatović to get involved, Adžić to protect us from the attacks of DF officials

Non-governmental organizations Jaz - "Mrčevo polje" and "Jaz plaža" invited Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, President of Montenegro Jakov Milatović to get involved in solving the problems they have with the Municipality of Budva.

In a joint statement signed by the presidents of these NGOs, Ilija Bućin and Branka Marović, they call on the Minister of Police, Filip Adžić, to protect them from the attacks of Budva Democratic Front officials and municipal officials.

They warn that not all actors of yesterday's fight have been detained.

In an incident that happened yesterday to Jaz during the handover of the keys to the locker rooms and facilities that until recently were managed by the Mediterranean Sports Center in Budva (MSC) in Budva, a resident of Grblje was hit in the head with a bar.

Today, the police arrested Voj Pićan from Grbljana because of that fight.

Saša Midorović and his brother Stevan suffered multiple head and body injuries after being physically attacked yesterday in Jaz, Budva.

"During yesterday, there was great interest in solving the problems surrounding the stadium and temporary facilities on Jaz, because we requested their handover on March 17 in a letter to the President of the Municipality of Budva. This was followed by invitations from the Cabinet of the Prime Minister Dritan Abazović, adviser Ana Saveljić with interest in participating in overcoming doubts, in order to hold an international tournament on the Jaz", the Jaz - "Mrčevo polje" and "Jaz plaža" press release states.

We have informed the advisor about our demands towards the municipality, the press release adds, that is, the Mediterranean Sports Center, that we are asking for the peaceful handing over of the keys to all the sports premises and that we will then make them available for use by the tournament organizer, as well as that we will give consent and a guarantee that the tournament will take place.

"With the organizer of the tournament, Nenad Filipović, on his initiative, we had several conversations to inform about our relationship with the Municipality of Budva and their company, the fact that the lease agreement has been terminated and the state of the fields. Furthermore, Filipović informed us in the afternoon that the keys to the premises were handed over to him by Nikola Vučićević, director of MSC DOO Budva, and that the handover should take place at Jaza at 18.30:XNUMX p.m.," the announcement states.

Then, as they add, members of both organizations approached for the handover.

"Then we appreciate that Filipović was deceived, because he was given the wrong keys. Nikola Vučićević came by invitation to resolve the misunderstanding, but he brought his security in the form of his nephews, who caused the incident. Given that Vojo Pićan, his son and other supporters arrived within a few minutes, and as can be seen in the videos, who were participants in the fight, one gets the impression that everything was staged and planned in advance on their part." it is stated in the announcement.

There were also attempts to prevent filming, they say, because the representative of the NGO "Jaz - plaža", Branka Marović, had her phone taken away by Nikola Vučićević, director of MSC DOO.

"The peaceful handover, which we expected, escalated into a fight, not our fault, in which two people were injured, our members Stevan Midorović and Saša Midorović, who is also employed at MSC, and for which we express great regret and indignation", they say from these two NGOs.

As they point out, they called on the Police Administration to legitimize and arrest all the participants in the fight.

"According to our knowledge, not all the perpetrators have been detained at all, Miloš and Đorđije Vučićević, nephews of the municipal official Nikola Vučićević, and Ratko Pićan, son of Voj Pićan. We also point out that there is video surveillance at the temporary facility, and we call on the police to remove the recordings, on which, in addition to the existing recordings, the identities of all persons, who are known to us and to the locals, can also be clearly determined," said two NGOs.

They invite the President of the Government of Montenegro, Dritan Abazović, President Jakov Milatović, to take part and help solve the problem that has existed for a long time with the Municipality of Budva and, according to them, the inability of its representatives to control their companies and organizations.

"We also call on the Minister of the Interior, Filip Adžić, to protect his citizens from the attacks of prominent members of the Budva Front and municipal officials," they said in the announcement.

To make the problem worse, as they claim, the supporters of the mentioned persons have been contacting people for some time, and intensively in the last few days.

"They force them to sign some statements, and in that way spread falsehoods and mislead them about the real and legal situation, and put them in an unenviable position in realizing their real rights on the land in question. What is an even bigger problem is that in this way they purposefully create animosity between citizens and make them quarrel with each other, which can result in further riots, because this kind of behavior proves that they do not care about citizens and their rights, but that they have someone else plan, which, we believe, will be revealed in the next period," they said.

In this way, they added, we call for responsible behavior in order to stop the further escalation of the disorder, and that everyone, especially some, refrain from any actions that may have such consequences.

"We consider it necessary to address the membership and all citizens with this announcement, so that they can get a broader picture of yesterday's event and draw their own conclusions. We express our regret for the unpleasant scenes that left Jaz and which our members attended, and we hope that with the participation of the state, finally put an end to this perennial problem", the announcement concludes.
