Works on the construction of hydrotechnical infrastructure in Boška Rašovića Street in Kolašin began today, and the realization of that project will solve the problem of stormwater spillage in the part of the settlement that gravitates to that road, as well as the problem of undeveloped fecal sewage.
"Through the execution of the works on this street, the multi-decade problem of waste water in the so-called refugee settlement will be solved, which will finally be connected to the newly built sewerage network. We have fully reviewed the planned works with the hydrotechnical project and in the past few days managed to complete the traffic part of the project in order to after the completion of the works, we had a street with a length of almost a kilometer in a completely new guise", said the President of the Municipality, Vladimir Martinović, who opened the works.
The works will be carried out according to the Main Project for the construction of primary hydrotechnical infrastructure in the area of the DUP Smailagić Polje and the DUP Center - part of Ulica Boška Rašovića. The main project dealt with the construction of atmospheric sewerage for the most critical area around Boško Rašovića Street, then, the construction of fecal sewerage along that waterway, as well as the reconstruction of the existing water supply network and the construction of new distribution and connection pipelines.
Along the side street that connects the streets of Boško Rašović and Milivoj Bulatović, where there are no existing installations, the construction of new fecal and atmospheric sewage collectors and new water pipelines is planned. This project, as announced by the local administration, includes the construction of connections to the city water supply system and city sewage system for all existing and planned buildings on urban plots located along Boška Rašovića Street or gravitating to that road.
