The Montenegrin Electric Distribution System (CEDIS) donated eight thousand euros to the "Vaso Ćuković" Special Hospital in Risno, in order to support the purchase of necessary medical instruments.
The donation agreement was signed by the directors of CEDIS and Risan Hospital, Vladimir Čađenović and Vlado Popović.
Čađenović said that he was satisfied that the company had the opportunity to help that health institution, which, as he stated, has been recognized for its expertise and quality of services both in Montenegro and in the wider region.
"I am proud of the fact that CEDIS, as a socially responsible company, carefully listens to the needs of the community, and therefore stands by those who need support the most, for the benefit of the whole society," said Čađenović.
He said that he would be glad if all socially responsible companies followed the example of CEDIS, and in that way, in addition to the primary investment in healthcare, preserve the memory of great benefactors, such as Vaso Ćuković.
"I believe that the purchase of instruments for spine surgery will facilitate the work of doctors and medical staff, and make the hospital service even better," said Čađenović, adding that CEDIS plans to continue with such projects in the future.
Popović, on his own behalf and on behalf of the entire hospital staff, thanked CEDIS for the donation.
He said that, in addition to numerous activities to modernize the hospital, due to limited financial resources, they are not able to acquire the necessary equipment, which is why they turned to CEDIS.
"By acquiring this necessary medical equipment, and thanks to the CEDIS donation, the Special Hospital for Orthopedics, Neurosurgery and Neurology will further modernize the approach to treatment and create the conditions and environment that befits its reputation and that the users of all our services deserve," said Popović.
He pointed out that CEDIS is recognized as one of the most important companies in the country, which continuously provides support to the health system.
CEDIS said that they continue to take care of the improvement of the community and contribute to a better quality of life, which is reflected in the continuous investment in healthcare.
"CEDIS has been helping the improvement of the community through its projects in various fields for six years, so this donation is only one in a series for which money has been allocated," the company stated.
They noted that since the beginning of this year, CEDIS has supported the health system with over 40 euros to the Health Center of the Capital City, the Association for Preventive Pediatrics of Montenegro, the Clinical Center of Montenegro.
