Following global trends in the postal industry, but also recognizing the importance of environmental protection, the Post of Montenegro has procured electric vehicles for the first time. As the public procurement process itself has been completed and the contract signed, Pošta's vehicle fleet will soon be richer by 40 electric mopeds. This investment aims to make the vehicle fleet more functional and modern, which would make the provision of services more efficient, and the ultimate goal is satisfied postmen, as well as users.
Namely, the condition of the fleet that the new management found was at an unenviable level and could not follow the trend of growth in the number of clients that the Post has recorded in the last two years. In order to improve the service and to acquire new clients, it was necessary to acquire an additional number of vehicles.
The vehicles, almost a third of which were between 15 and 20 years old, and most of them in very poor condition and with high mileage, apart from endangering the safety of employees, also represented a significant obstacle in the development of the Post,
With the intention of improving the provision of services offered by the Post Office, but also to expand the business of the Company itself through the acquisition of new clients, 180 new mopeds intended for postmen were procured.
We also procured 5 electric delivery vehicles through the QSF fund of the Universal Postal Union, in cooperation with our partners from the Eco Fund. The goal of purchasing these vehicles, in addition to improving express delivery, is to create conditions for further electrification of the Company's vehicle fleet, in order to make a significant contribution to reducing environmental pollution and preserving the natural resources of our country.
The process of improving the vehicle fleet and further electrification is a job that must maintain continuity, so the purchase of 5 vehicles of the freight program was completed, one of which is also an electric vehicle, and their delivery is expected in September of this year. These vehicles are intended for the transport of shipments on transport lines.

The modernization of the fleet will continue, all with the aim of providing employees with adequate and safe working conditions, raising the quality of service to a significantly higher level, and at the same time, as a socially responsible company, setting new environmental standards.
The management of the Post, although upon coming to office found a dysfunctional and unproductive system that did not follow the modernization of society, decisively announced significant changes and modernization, so that the Post would become a powerful and modern company.
Today, after only 2 years, through a series of successful projects, including the renewal of the rolling stock, we can point out that great progress has been made in the way the Post operates and operates. Motivated by everything that has been achieved in a relatively short period, in the same, positive spirit, we will continue to work on strengthening and additional productivity of each segment of the Post Office.
