President of Kotor Municipality Vladimir Jokić ceremoniously presented diplomas of Luča to high school graduates and semi-graduates who finished the school year with the distinction of "Luča" and showed outstanding results during their four-year and nine-year education, the municipality announced.
"The municipality provided cash prizes for 61 male and female students who, in addition to diplomas, were also awarded with books by Rist Kovijanić "Kotor Medallions" and Miloš Milošević "Maritime Merchants, Warriors and Patrons", according to the announcement of the Municipality of Kotor.
Jokić addressed the students with the words: "You have rights today, but with rights come obligations".
You have the right, he said, to choose your life path further, you have the right to choose how you will develop further, in which city you will live, who have finished high school, but you also have obligations.
"First of all, to be the best you can be in the period ahead of you, to change your environment for the better, regardless of the fact that all the elders will tell you that it shouldn't be that way. You have an obligation to listen to yourself without forgetting to listen to the rest of us as well," said Jokić .
He added that his request is that "as one of the obligations, you will also put the fact that you will return to this city and that you will make this city better".
Because if you don't come back to this city, he said, and if you don't make this city better, if you don't become a part of this city, this city is better than you.
"The awarding of diplomas was attended by the President of the Kotor Municipal Assembly, Maja Mršulja, the Vice-President of the Municipality, Nebojša Ševaljević, as well as the Secretary of the Secretariat for Culture, Sports and Social Activities, Tatjana Kriještorac," the statement added.
As they said from the Municipality of Kotor, the winners of the "Luča" diploma from Kotor High School are: Anđela Ivanović, Anja Đukanović, Jelena Mijanović, Marta Korom, Nikolina Lučić, Marko Petrović, Vasilije Radonjić, Ina Radulović, Luka Lakčević, Maksim Pavićević, Nikola Vukšić, Đorđa Čolo, Igor Pavićević, Luka Samardžić, Mia Aprcović, Sonja Ivanović, Ana Brajković, Una Kovačević and Ivana Vukašinović.
"The best students of the Kotor Maritime High School who received a diploma from Luča are: Dejan Pudar, Savo Marić, Andrija Tučević, Andrija Begović, Ratko Čejović, Kristian Radović, Vladana Tučević, Savo Sredojević and Dejan Nikolić," it added.
The students of the School for Elementary and Secondary Music Education "Vida Matjan" are, as stated, Milica Vulanović, Petra Šćekić and Una Ivanković.
"Thirty male and female students from Kotor elementary schools also deserved the Luča diploma," they said.
Among them are: Marta Borović, Drago Rapovac, Filip Živković, Aleksandra Dimitrovski, Ena Janović, Anja Pejović, Anastasija Sredojević, Dajana Knežević, Anastasija Kovačević, Tara Radonjić, Anđela Adžić, Ena Božović, Kristijan Petrović, Marija Radusinović, Tesa Mirošević and Vedrana. Vičević, male and female students of "Njegoš" Elementary School.
"Narodni heroj Savo Ilić" elementary school graduated with the best results this year: Božidar Samardžić, Petra Kerndl, Lara Lalović, Irina Barović, Nina Doljanica, Andrija Krivokapić, Nina Strahinja, Adriana Đuričković and Jana Perović, while Darja Guberinić and Jovan Kuševija were the best students of the Elementary School "Veljko Drobnjaković" Risan", it was announced from the Municipality of Kotor.
