The search for the missing Kolasinac continues

The search for the missing Kolašinec LR (71), which has been going on for seven days, has so far yielded no results. LR is a resident of Prekobrđ, he lived alone, and his disappearance was reported to the police on June 14.

As the Kolašin Basic State Prosecutor's Office (ODT) told the News, the search will continue in the coming days, and as they claim, "numerous police-prosecutor activities to determine all the circumstances" have been undertaken so far.

According to the manager of ODT Maja Šćepanović, a telecommunications expert opinion will also be carried out.

"In the previous days, members of the Protection and Rescue Service (SZS), volunteers, locals participated in the search. A drone and search dogs were involved in the search of the terrain. In the meantime, numerous police-prosecutor activities were undertaken to determine all the circumstances of the person's disappearance. In this direction, an order was issued for a telecommunications expert with analysis of the listing and determination of the location. In this way, it will be possible to narrow down the search area, given that it is a very inaccessible terrain. In addition, other actions are ongoing which, in the interest of the procedure, cannot be disclosed to the public for the time being," Šćepanović said.

According to unofficial information, LR, who lived in the part of Prekobrđe, called Sela, last communicated by phone with his relatives on June 12 in the afternoon.

The configuration of the terrain and the low vegetation, as the Kolašin police said earlier, make visibility and search very difficult.
