Injac: Provide an environment in which each individual feels free and protected when performing their work

The mayor of Podgorica, Olivera Injac, condemned any attempt to intimidate "those who protect the interests of citizens of Podgorica with their actions".

Injac spoke about the report that the president of the Board of Directors of the city company "Čistoća" Milan Vukadinović submitted to the Police Directorate due to the threats he found on his vehicle this morning. Vukadinović confirmed to "Vijesta" that he found the message "Watch what you're doing, Vukadinović".

Injac appealed to the competent authorities to reveal the identity and sanction the person who left the warning message to Vukadinović as soon as possible.

"It is the responsibility of the entire society to, with institutional support, provide an environment in which each individual feels free and protected when performing their work, without danger to their personal and family safety. I express my full support and gratitude to Mr. Vukadinović, who by his actions points out the irregularities in "Cistoća" business, thereby protecting the interests of all citizens of Podgorica. We must not tolerate any kind of pressure, but encourage everyone to point out abuses of public resources," said Injac.
