The Beran Elementary State Prosecutor's Office has begun analyzing the materials submitted to them by their colleagues from Rožaj, in connection with the "leaking" of mathematics tests ahead of the external mathematics exam for elementary school students.

"After the case from the ODT in Rožaje was submitted to the ODT in Berane, an analysis of the submitted material followed, after which measures and actions will be taken with the aim of securing evidence and identifying the perpetrator of the criminal offense for which the prosecution is being undertaken ex officio", he announced. News" ODT spokesman Marko Bojović.

At the end of last month, the Rožaj ODT announced that the mathematics tests for the external verification of knowledge of semi-graduates "leaked" on the territory of Beran, and not Rožaj, as previously suspected.

In April, the examination center and the Ministry of Education decided to cancel and set a new date for taking the exam, after the educators from Rožaj informed that the mathematics tests had reached the students before the knowledge assessment.

According to the unofficial information of "Vijesti", the math tests were properly packed and delivered to schools throughout Montenegro, and photos of the tasks appeared a little more than an hour before the scheduled start of testing. It was the first time that the assignments reached the students before they entered the classroom.

During the previous years, educators warned of numerous irregularities, and mostly high school graduates had the "courage" to take photos of the tests, send them on, and mostly copy the solutions via mobile phones.

In addition to the case of "leakage" of mathematics tests, the prosecutors are also investigating the case of copying in the external matriculation exam in the subject of Montenegrin-Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian (CSBH) language and literature.

The Supreme State Prosecutor's Office (VDT) forwarded to the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) the letter submitted by the Education Association and the Parents' Association.

"The letter submitted by the Non-Governmental Association Prosvjetna zajednica and the Association Parents to the Supreme State Prosecutor's Office on June 19, has been submitted for competent action to the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT)," the institution managed by Tatjana Begović officially announced to "Vijesta".

In the explanation submitted to the associations, prosecutor Lidija Vukčević explains that the letter is being sent to special prosecutors because it "expresses doubts about the lawful conduct of officials who have the capacity of public officials".

"...As well as other officials of the Ministry of Education, the State Commission for the Matriculation Examination, the test of administrators, coordinators and directors of secondary schools in the process of evaluating the matriculation/professional examinations, organized in 2022/2023, especially for the subject CSBH language and literature, submitted to the SDT for competent processing ", answered Vukčević to the organizations.

In addition to investigating what happened at the CSBH external matriculation exam, when the first evaluation committee found that hundreds of students had given the same incorrect answers to certain questions, the organizations also demanded that it be checked why there are no results of the Rožaj ODT investigation in the case when the test in mathematics reached the semi-graduate level before the start of the exam.

In the memo, which will be the subject of special prosecutors' attention, it is also stated that, immediately after taking the test for CSBH language and literature, "evidence of copying within the Viber group called 'Druženje'" appeared in the public, as well as that the representatives of the administration of the Examination Center and the Ministry of Education were immediately informed of this.

High school graduates who received zero points on the CSBH and literature test due to rewriting protested in front of the Ministry and the Examination Center. After the discussion between Minister Miomir Vojinović and their representatives, it was agreed that the tests will be reviewed again, which the members of the Evaluation Commission refused, after which the Government dismissed the leadership of the Examination Center.

The new committee re-examined the papers, and most of the students passed the exam, some even with high grades.
