DZ Capital city: Air conditioner installed more than 15 years ago, previous management did not service or maintain it

The management of the Health Center of the Capital City announced that the existing central air conditioner in the Nova Varoš Health Center was installed during the reconstruction of the facility more than 15 years ago and that all this time, more precisely, as they stated, during the mandate of the previous management, it was not serviced or properly maintained.

They reacted after a part of the employees of the aforementioned health center confirmed to Television Vijesti that the air conditioning system in that facility has not been working for months.

"The very age of the equipment, as well as the difficulties in procuring spare parts on the market, made it difficult for the current management to service and repair, even after providing financial resources through donations and the publication of four public calls in the previous two years, in which there were no interested bidders," the management said in a statement. .

They add that in the past month, on several occasions, there was a malfunction that was rectified, but for a short time, due to all of the above.

"The management of the health center, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health and the Health Insurance Fund, has already taken all the steps in order to purchase and replace the existing heat pumps, and therefore we ask for the understanding and patience of both employees and citizens until the cooling system is established again." it is written in the announcement.

Considering, as they say, that this point is on duty during the weekend, in order to facilitate the provision of services to insured women as well as working conditions for employees, the duty of the selected doctor for adults will be transferred to the ZO Stara Varoš - Pobrežje, while the selected pediatricians during on weekends to provide services in ZO Block V.
