Members of the Mountain Rescue Service (GSS) of Montenegro have successfully completed the rescue operation on Durmitor in the Zeleni Vir area.

"Russian citizen AO (born in 1998) sustained an ankle injury while hiking on Durmitor. After assistance and transport, he was handed over to the emergency team," the GSS said on Facebook.

Today around 16:30 he sent a call for help via OKC 112 of the Protection and Rescue Directorate of the MUP.

Members of the Protection Service (SZ) Žabljak also participated in the action.
